Resident Chemist and Explosives Expert for Elite among the Decepticons, Mixmaster has spent his entire life learning all there is to know about chemical interaction. He can make thousands of poisons, explosives and deadly gasses from the materials around him. The other Decepticons rely on him to fashion powerful warheads for their missiles, and dangerous venoms in which to coat their blades.

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Voyager Mixmaster is a mix of sorts:It’s a GREAT toy… but it’s not big!
PROs:-Alt (truck) mode is very solid and has a lot of detail like clear plastic headlights and windows, separately molded window mirrors (not even big Leader Optimus has his mirrors made as separate pieces from the doors), lots of molded-in detail and the already mentioned moveable pouring scoop. Proportions are very good also.-Paint application is scarce but really there was not much to paint in the first place. It’s limited to the silver on the wheels, decepticon insignia on the hood and the mixing drum, plus the big purple decepticon insignia on the drum. Also the red-white stripes on the sides are a nice touch.-Robot mode is very accurate to the concept art (I’ve posted a comparison picture), but even better is the wide range of articulation that this toy has. Each arm alone has about 7 points of articulation! The cannon can be placed either on its back or on top of its head to recreate the final battle scenes (or at least his final battle scene).
CONs:- This toy is from a Voyager line, and therefore supposed to be bigger, like Ratchet or Ironhide. But it’s small… - Some joints are a little bit loose. The toy won’t fall apart, but will need some support to hold some poses (in my pictures, the arms are being supported by its knees!). The panels on its feet are designed to fall apart instead of break, and will do so very frequently.- “Kibble” is present in the form of the whole cab forming the robot’s buttocks.- I didn’t even bother with the “third mode”. It doesn’t appear in the movie and looks silly.- This is my fourth transformer toy (and the third one from the movies) that has been assembled wrong IN THE FACTORY. Usually the problem is hard to see, like a little piece or joint put backwards. - The instruction sheet has the arrows poiting the wrong way in one step of the arms transformation. You can find some videos on the web that will help much more.
So, between the three currently released constructicons – Voyager Demolishor (who’s got Scavenger’s colors, by the way), Deluxe Rampage and Voyager Mixmaster, this one is THE BEST and the one I would recommend.
(Note that at this time, Long Haul is still a future release and there’s no word about Scrapper)
Demolishor and Rampage are very hard to pose. The first one has one big wheel instead of feet and the second is a monopod. Mixmaster then gets two feet up! (Just because he’s got no thumbs)

I was skeptical after the Deluxe Bumblebee version but in my opinion this is the best one ever. Robot mode is perfect. Good proportions with no awkward stuff hanging out anywhere. Great detail throughout with little gears and hydraulic details molded in. I have over a dozen transformers including many Alternators and this has to be my favorite. Way better than the deluxe version and even better than the Ultimate Bumblebee. Just a really well done robot mode with tons of pose-ability, I can’t say enough. Transformation is fun and with lots of intricacies but not too difficult. Everything snaps together well. Car mode is very cool with nice details like clear windows on the exterior and a steering wheel and dashboard in the interior. The only gripes might be that the seats on his arms for Sam are kind of corny, but I just flip them to the bottom and out of the way. The only thing Hasbro can do to outdo this is to make a Leader class Bumblebee, but maybe it’s better not to mess with perfection. Grab it!
BUMBLEBEE and Sam were best friends almost from the moment they first met face to face. As they learned more about one another, that connection grew deeper and deeper. Gear up for battle excitement with this dynamic duo! Sam Witwicky figure and BUMBLEBEE robot-to-vehicle figure make a perfect pair, even interacting with each other! Convert this BUMBLEBEE buddy from a robot with flip-out cannon to a Camaro® concept car in vehicle mode â and you can even fit two human ally figures inside (additional figures sold separately)! Team up with this fearless twosome and take on the DECEPTICON enemies. Recreate exciting movie scenes or create your own! Who will win the battle? You decide!

The grandsons – N. Bonner – This was the year to give Transformers to the grandsons. “Transforming” is more challenging than I remember when the sons got Transformers. Since they are durable toys, I believe that the boys will get pleasure from these for a long time to come.
Not what they used to be – M. Ricker – Terrible. It is cheap and falls apart. It is hard to transform and not at all what I expected. Especially for the price.

MECH ALIVE gearing reveals moving armor panels and internal gears that let you recreate some of your favorite movie scenes â or create your own! Team up with this awesome ally and roll out!
This toy is cute. My 4-year-old son definitely loves to play with it. But he cannot do the transformation alone. My nephew (a 21 year old college boy) transformed it from Prime to a truck in about 2 hours while watching Lakers game. The instruction is not very clear. It does need some imagination to do that. Once it’s done, you get a beautiful truck. The first time is always the hardest. The second time should be much faster if you know which part goes to where.
I and my friend play it just now. It took my friend about 30 minutes to change it back to Prime from truck, and took me almost an hour to transform from Prime to a truck by following the instruction. Each of us worked alone. By the way, we are both experienced computer programmers and pretty handy.

Roaring in low over the landscape, Blackout pours fire down upon any target that comes within range of his sensors. The only creature for which he displays something other than open contempt is his companion Scorponok. The frenzied smaller robot serves its huge master more as a pet than a friend, hounding any enemies that attempt to flee and driving them towards the larger robot’s blazing cannons. Together, they are relentless force of destruction, bent on bathing the landscape in superheated plasma charges until the desert itself is a fused, broken plain of lifeless glass.
